Here we go...

Welcome to the Morris family's blog! One of my goals in life is to learn Gaelic hence the title of the blog. All of our children have names that take their origin in the British Isles. Our oldest is Teagan Eileen. Teagan is Gaelic for little poet. Eileen (also my middle name) is the Gaelic form of Helen and means pleasant. Although, my mom created that name for me by combining my grandmother's middle name, Irene, her aunt's name, Eloise, and my dad's middle name, Lee. Next up is Logan William. Logan is Gaelic for hollow and was originally a Scottish surname. And our Logan takes his name from my Grandmother, Louise Logan Skidmore. William is a popular name on both sides of our family but our little guy's namesake comes from Brad's Grandfather, William Bowser. Finally, we have Seren McKenzie. Seren is Welsh for star and McKenzie is Scottish for the fair one. As you can see, we are fond of that area of the world. Maybe we'll visit someday! Until then I'm going to work on my Gaelic. Beannachd Leibh!
