An Excellent Reminder...

Sometimes it becomes too easy to be blinded by the world that surrounds us.  We get tired of fighting against it and become complacent.  I am frequently guilty of this.  And then, when I'm not looking, Heavenly Father gives me a loving smack on the back of the head to knock the sense back into me.


In this case, it was this quote from Margaret D. Nadauld.  It was at the very bottom of a website that I was looking at for lesson helps for my primary class.

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity."
