Ah baby wipes. Those delightful things have been around since the 1950s (and thank goodness for that) but I have a bit of an issue with their packaging.
We have been through at least 10 wipes containers in the past six years. TEN!
There have been a couple that have accidentally been tripped over and stepped on but the majority have a fatal flaw in their design.
The Pampers wipes containers have a 'hinge' that after repeated use separates and the top cannot be reattached after that happens.
Huggies containers were redesigned a few years ago so that pop-up wipes could be used. What they didn't take into account was small hands sticking objects in through the opening the opposite way causing the material to rip. Once that happens the pop-up wipes won't stay popped-up.
And then there's the wipes themselves. They either stick together and you pull out a long line of them instead of one or you get one and then when you realize that the messy diaper is far more messy than just one wipe can handle you go to grab another one only to find that there isn't one there. THE REST ARE STUCK IN THE STUPID CONTAINER!!
So now that they have been around for half a century, I think its time for a bit of a makeover.
An indestructible container that contains wipes that are soft, smell nice, are gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin, pop up one at a time and don't cost me a fortune.
Think you can handle that Huggies and Pampers?

LOL! Oh Jenna, the things you think about. I say we start a wipes revolution. We can do it...we just need to believe! Hugs

ReplyDeleteAs for the wipes...I haven't used them in so long that I sort of forgot how annoying they are. Now I'm going to have to start thinking about things like that again...!!!
